Should You Scrapbook Food?

The question of what is and is not worthy of a scrapbook layout is a personal choice.  However, from time to time you will find foods that are worthy of being scrapbooked.

A prime example of worthy food is a birthday cake.  We always include pictures of the birthday cakes in our birthday layouts.  Celebration meals are also worthy memories of being scrapbooked.

 What about more everyday meals?

The other day we decided to splurge and went to Whole Foods to buy a few special meals.  We got what we needed for a bruschetta sandwich, homemade pizza, and lasagna.  While we were buying the ingredients I asked Susy, "should we scrapbook this?".  After all it was 3 yummy meals that we normally wouldn't buy.

When all was said and done we forgot to take pictures of the pizza, so likely will not be making a scrapbook layout out of our yummy meals.  What do you think are great  meals worthy of a scrapbook layout?

This sandwich was so good.   It's been a few days and my mouth still waters just thinking about it.  What can I say, I'm a lucky man.

Here is how to make the sandwich:

1) Roast garlic cloves and then smash them in a mortar and pestle.

2) Slice a heirloom tomatoes and added salt pepper and balsamic vinegar.

3) Chop up some fresh basil.

4) Toasted the bread.

5)  Finally make the sandwich using the tomato, garlic, goat cheese, and fresh basil.
