Back to School

This is another layout we made with our pictures from the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens.

While looking around we found this cute little set of a Japanese class room.  My moms a teacher so we had her give me a lesson on Japan while Susy took lots of pictures.  It was all very funny and we all laughed a lot.

The background paper seen in this layout was actually double side and has neat cut outs on the other side.  One of those cut outs is the Best Memory accessory you see on this layout.  We fussy cut it out.  That left a huge hole in the center of our paper.
This is Important!

Next Susy misted across the layout with red Ditto Glimmer Spray.

Then we taped our photos to a piece of On The Bright Side Red Wood Paper (coming soon to our store) and cut around the photos to turn it into a mat.

Then we taped that mat over the hole we had made in our background paper.

Finally we just added a few embellishments including the one we cut out.

No, it's not a complicated layout.   However, I really like the look.  The only thing I don't like is that it all almost looks so perfect that it looks a little bit like a digital scrapbook layout to me.

As always feel free to use pictures from our blog.  We only ask that you give us credit.
