New Scrapbook Store Opening Soon

Hello Friends,

I have been working very hard on our new and improved scrapbook store.  However, the best part will be that we can now have more then 500 products!

I just moved the dsn of our old store to the new servers.  The store will be down for the next 72 hours while the computers around the world find us again.  I look forward to finishing up the store.

I miss blogging everyday and having the time to read your blogs.

We Are Moving!

I have very exciting news.  We are Moving!

We have found a new host for our store

What does this mean to you?

It means our store will no longer be limited to only 500 different scrapbook items and you will soon see many more scrapbook supplies at great deals then ever before.

Our prices are going to stay the cheapest online.

Our great products are going to stay the same(plus some new ones).

Our web address is going to stay

In the meantime, our old store is going to stay open and we are sending out orders from it.

We are very excited to open the new online store and I have been working nonstop at setting it up.

I'll be back at the blog when I'm done.  I just wanted to take a few minutes out of  the day to tell you the exciting news.

The Story of an Order

Most orders to our store go smoothly..  However, from time to time things can go wrong.  This is the story of an order that went slightly askew.

On December 31 an order came in.

It was just over $50 and qualified for free shipping.  However, a software glitch that stopping the customer from receiving the free shipping discount.  She contacted me and I removed the shipping charges and give her an extra discount.

When we packed the order we found we were out of the size box we needed for it.  That's a problem easily fixed.

When Wednesday arrived the New Years holiday was over and it was time to get her order in the mail ASAP.

No-one wants to wait a long time for their goodies.  I know we don't when we order them.

Now it's important to understand that while I run the store full time and take care of our home, Susy has an important job managing 23 people.  She works long hours and often doesn't have time to do many things for our scrapbook store.

I asked her if she could guarantee me that today during lunch she would get the package to the post office.  She couldn't.  I told her not to worry about it and that I would take care of it.  I walked he mile and a half loop to the post office with the package then back to our office.

Finally, I wrote an email complete with tracking information letting the customer know their order was on the way .

The customer was taken care of and that's my number one goal.  However, It's not over yet for me.  The store sold out of several items over the Holiday so expect new things on the shelves very soon.

99.9% of orders we get go out with no issues at all and we have never had a customer complain. Maybe the reason is when things do go wrong we go out of our way to make them right.

Always Electric Scrapbook Layout

Always Electric Scrapbook Layout

This is a layout of our cat Pookie.  He loves to come over to us when we are at the computer and ask for love.  If you ignore him for long he will lay on the keyboard until pet him.

He's actually quite the little computer expert he has frozen our computer up several times by pressing the wrong keys.  He even hacked a website once.  I had to write the website owner and tell him I don't know how, but my cat just hacked your site.

The layout has a cool steampunk feel to it. We used our new paper distressing tool on many of the papers and Susy did a lot of stamping.  I love all the gears and the old looking clothes pin.

Have a great day and happy scrapbooking!

This is a layout of Susy and her mom when we were shopping for Christmas presents at Orlando Premium Outlets.  We all had a lot of fun.

It's hard to see in the picture, but the flower is actually chipboard that Susy glued paper to.

For the tags we used The Tim Holz Tag & tie by dies.

Happy  New Year's!  I hope you had a great New Year's Eve and have an even better year to come.
