TPC Studio: Behind the Scenes

Thanks to http://underclassrising.net/ of flickr for the photo
Sadly many great paper companies disappear every year.  When you find a company that has truly stood the test of time time they know what they are doing.

The history of The Paper Company (aka TPC Studio) is longer then any other paper company that I know of.

The story starts in the early 1900's with a company called ANW Crestwood.

Crestwood made history when they were the first company in the United States to import exotic papers from Asia and Europe.  Today two of their main focuses are cardstock and scrapbooking supplies.  They sell them under the brand name TPC Studio.

ANW Crestwood believes in the scrapbook market.  In 2010 they purchased Creativity Inc and all it's sub-brands including Autumn Leaves, Westrim Crafts, DMD, Crop in Style, Hip in a Hurry, Room Relish, and Paper Bliss.

It is not uncommon to have one company to own multiple scrapbook brands.  A key example of this would be EKsuccess who owns up to 17 well known brands depending on how you count them.

Paper companies come and go.  Any company like ANW Crestwood that last well over 100 years is doing a lot right.  Their scrapbook products are cute and good quality.  So if you haven't tried TPC Studio products before check them out.

Note the photo is a paper manufacture, but is not a picture of the ANW Crestwood factory.
