How to Make a Paper Camera

I originally made this paper camera to be part of photo that for our store banner.  However, Susy didn't like it so I'm not sure what I will do with it now.

Personally I like how it turned out and wanted to take the time to share how I made it with you.

Cut a toilet paper roll in half.

Cut one of those two halves in half length wise.

Cut two 3x5 3/4 cardboard rectangles.

Hot Glue the two half rolls to the cardboard. 

Hot Glue the tube shaped part of your roll to the center of your camera.

Put your camera on top of cardboard and trace it.   Cut out the top and bottom parts of your camera.

Cut out a small rectangle to use is a view finder.

Cut two 1/2 inch strips of cardboard and roll them to make buttons. 

Cut and 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 square of cardboard and fold it in half for the flash.

Glue all the parts of your camera together.

 Add vellum for the glass parts of the camera.  Use tin foil for the flash part of your camera.

Decorate your camera using scrapbook paper.
