Unforgettable Scrapbook Layout

Unforgettable Scrapbook Layout

Susy made this layout of the two of us.  The picture was taken at the Natural History Museum in NYC, but can't really tell that in the photo.  This is a huge Museum and the two of us had been walking around for hours when we found this small sitting area with windows looking out over central park.  We took the chance to take a 30 minute break off our feet and of course to take lots of pictures.

A Mickey and Minnie Halloween Scrapbook Layout

Susy made this very cute scrapbook layout of her brother and his girlfriend all dressed up to go to a Halloween party.  It might be a simply layout, but I really like everything about it.  I hope you like it also.  I'll be sharing a few other scrapbook layouts Susy has made in the coming days.

Where On Earth Did I Go?

You may be wondering where I went.  I have been posting more or less every day and all the sudden I was just gone from the blog.

I went out and got a real life job.  It's minimum wage but at least gets me out of the house and gives us a little extra spending money.  However, currently I'm in training and have little time to post.  When my training is over I should have more time to spend on the blog and such.

Don't worry Susy and I are still sending out orders.  In fact, one of the reasons why I got the job was so that we could afford to expand the store.  We have already made an order from Lily Bee for 42 new papers!  I'm very excited to get them in the mail so I can share them with all our scrappy friends.  Of course we will check the web to make sure you can't get a better deal then at our store.

In the mean time Susy has made a few new layouts that I plan to post asap.  I also want to make some new free digi stamps to share.

I hope everyone is well.

Free train digi

I love this train digi so much.  The first time Susy saw it she said, "you can't use one of our stamps and call it a digi".  I'm not sure but I think she thought it was graphic 45.  Either way I had to show her the actual photo that I used when making the digi to prove I made this.  :)  To save it simply click on the image to enlarge and then right click to save.

I also colored this example of the digi.  When I colored my original digi I found many small mistakes that I corrected before sharing the digi above.

I hope you love this digi as much as I do.

Free little girl digi

When I was working like crazy trying to make enough digi stamps to share over this past week I lost track and actually made two extra.  These two extra digi stamps were by far my personal favorites out of all the digi stamps I've made so far.  I'm happy that I finally get to share the first of them today.  To save the digi simply click on it to enlarge and then right click to save.

I colored this example using Copic and Spectrum Noir markers.  After coloring her I would recommend against coloring the lips like I did.  They are so small your markers are likely to bleed.

Free Bike Digi

For today I made this beautiful bike digi.  I've loved all the digi stamps that I've given away so far this week, but this is one of my favorites.  I hope you like as much as I do.  To save the digi simply click on it to enlarge and then right click to save.

I also colored an example to share with you.  You may notice that the colored example of this digi does not include the bike behind the basket.  When I colored the digi I noticed the problem and corrected it.  The bike was colored with Copics and Spectrum Noir.  The background was very quickly colored with colored pencils.  I like the rustic look this gave, but I'm sure you could end up with much more beautiful image if you took your time.

Susy and I will be returning later on today.  I look forward to reading all your comments over this past week.

Free bird digi

I love how life like this bird digi looks and hope you love him also.   When I was making him, I didn't realize how similar he looks to the bird digi I posted only a few days ago.  However, I think that's OK and that they make a nice set.  To save him simply click on the image to enlarge and then right click to save.

I colored this example of the digi to share with you.  If you want to color him with the correct color scheme he was based on a Black Capped Chickadee.  However, I ignored that when coloring him and think he would look good no matter what colors you use.

Free taking a photo digi

I love this digi!  I made her because scrapbookers so often find themselves stuck behind the camera.  I think she's perfect for many different scrapbook layouts.

When I colored the digi to share with you I noticed a problem.  The lines on her shirt between her arms were way to dark.  I lightened them in the digi above.

Free Bird Digi

For today I made a free bird digi.  I like how he turned out and think he looks like a bird that you might see illustrated in an old magazine.

He is very easy to color.  If you love this bird digi as much as I do keep coming back to the blog.  I'm going to give away a new free bird digi on Friday.

Here is an example I colored.  It's a lot of fun to color because of all the shadows.
